Jacob Marshel

Jacob brings a wealth of experience in development, acquisitions, and financing to his role as Director of Acquisitions & Development at LJR. With a keen eye for opportunity and a strategic mindset, Jacob oversees the critical aspects of underwriting, market research, and project management, driving the company’s growth and success.

Prior to joining LJR, Jacob served as an Acquisitions Manager at Urban Investment Partners, where he played a pivotal role in the underwriting, due diligence, and capital formation of over $250 million in closed transactions spanning residential, industrial, hotel, and retail assets. His hands-on experience in navigating complex real estate deals has equipped him with a deep understanding of the intricacies of the industry.

Jacob earned his MBA from Georgetown University, concentrating in Real Estate Finance, and holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Beyond his professional commitments, Jacob is an active member of the Keewaydin Organization. In his leisure time, he finds solace in physical activities, being an avid runner and tennis player.

With his depth of knowledge, strategic vision, and commitment to excellence, Jacob plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of LJR, ensuring that each investment opportunity is meticulously evaluated and executed with precision.
